Description

TheLHS-700 Series Hot plates have been discontinued, please review the LHM Series as a possible substitute or consult OMEGA's Temperature Engineering Department.

The LHS-700 series hot plate/stirrers include all the features of the rugged and reliable LHS-500 series, plus microprocessor based control and programmability. The LHS-700 series allows the user to have precise control of temperature, stirrer speed and time. In addition, fully programmable models enable the user to store programs which vary temperature and stirrer speed over time. Optional immersion and surface probes can be plugged into the back to the LHS-700 series and allow direct temperature monitoring and control of the heated sample instead of the hot plate surface.

The LHS-720 series feature simple, direct digital controls which allow the setting of one temperature, stir speed, and timed period. The fully programmable LHS-730 series offers a single program of up to 75 steps that can be stored in memory. The program can vary temperature and stir rate over time, total time and temperature rate of change over time. Once the program has been entered into memory, it is run by pressing a single key. The memory is backed-up by a 5-year battery, and it will not be lost by turning off or unplugging the unit.
